Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. I am Erica Leon, a registered dietitian and eating disorder specialist. One of my greatest pleasures is helping women make peace with food and their body image and recognize that "health" can be achieved at any size.
I recognize that one-on-one counseling isn't for everyone nor for every situation. That's why I offer several program options.
ONLINE - SELF STUDY INTUITIVE EATING PROGRAM
Intuitive Eating Essentials for Mid-life and Menopause is a self-paced, online program for anyone who is done with obsessing about what, how much, and when to eat every meal and snack. We know there must be a better way, but walking away from dieting means letting of many per-conceived “truths" about what is best for our minds and bodies.
Intuitive eating helps people rid themselves of the diet mentality by learning to distinguish between physical and emotional feelings, trust their own inner wisdom, and ultimately make peace with food and discover true satisfaction in eating.
If you are ready to integrate intuitive eating into your life, this is our group support program for women in midlife and menopause and we follow the principles of Intuitive Eating and a Non-Diet approach.
The next group starts in the fall 2020.
The support and training are built on concepts found in the groundbreaking book, Intuitive Eating and the NEW Intuitive Eating Workbook, by Evelyn Tribole, MS, RDN and Elyse Resch, MS, RDN.
The Support Circle has one main goal for participants and that is to help you continue your practice of intuitive eating as these skills require just that …practice!

You will also learn about mindfulness and reactive eating and get access to an exercise to help you with your reactive eating.

GROUP SUPPORT PROGRAMS
These programs are 6-week LIVE sessions where we meet weekly. It is an opportunity to troubleshoot with a trained, compassionate, and skilled dietitian and nutritionist therapist. And it is nutrition support that doesn't break the bank. Our LIVE Group Nutrition Support programs run several times a year on site in Westchester, New York and help you develop healthy habits for life. (currently on hold due to the pandemic)
