Embrace: A Non-Diet Support Group for Women over 40, 50 and 60!
When you are learning to let go of diets and challenging the societal norms of what a body is “supposed to look like,” it is helpful to be in community with others going through the same challenges.
Embrace is a 12- week, LIVE group support program for women at midlife and beyond.
We focus on supporting participants with a Non-Diet Approach and incorporating Intuitive Eating and Body Image Training to help you along your journey.

What happens in the Embrace Group Program?
- These virtual groups are led by Erica Leon, along with Rebecca Rikon, LMSW our Certified Intuitive Eating Coach.
- You will have two specialists there to help you and guide you during our bi-weekly group meetings. Our groups are a safe space to come and get support from us along with the other group members… and to know you are not alone in your journey to make peace with food and your body.
- We support one another in embracing a life free from diets, weight worries, and body shame.

Commonly asked questions:
Q: Is this just a beginner’s group for those unfamiliar with the concepts of intuitive eating and what can I hope to get out of it?
A: No, this is a high-level experience, for people who understand the “basics” of intuitive eating and want to continue their practice. We work on more of the nuances around food and body image, such as incorporating gentle nutrition and movement patterns and learning to be comfortable in your changing midlife body. We share ways of taking this learned information, such as advocating for yourself and/or speaking out against weight stigma and other injustices in the world.
Q: Will we be going through the Intuitive Eating Workbook?
A: While we will not specifically go through the IE workbook (that’s for our “Beginner-level” group), we will absolutely use concepts and exercises in our group discussions to help put the principles into action. This is a highly interactive group that will focus on YOUR needs to steer our discussions.
Q: Do I have to commit to all 6 sessions over the next 3 months? What if I get sick, have a vacation planned or need to travel…
A: We have gotten some excellent feedback from our previous participants about the importance of creating a cohesive community. We do ask for a commitment to all 6 sessions as the learning and sharing is best achieved when we are LIVE and in community.
