We live in a society that too often sends the wrong messages.

Diet culture is rooted in the belief that we must shrink our bodies to conform to Western beauty standards and that there is only one “right” way to eat. This belief system leads to constant body judgment, yo-yo dieting, food restriction and emotional eating.

The stress of being around family and friends, and food at this time of year makes it even more challenging to hear any positive messages through all the noise.

So today, I wanted to send some positive messages to you!

I hope they inspire you to think differently about yourself, your body, and your food. You need to know there is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel if you are struggling with food and your body image.


Your Embrace group program is a gift. I loved every minute. The best self-care I engage in is routinely declining plans to make myself free for our meetings on Thursday evenings. I hope you do it again in January. Thank you both!
