Our culture has mistakenly taught us that the Barbie doll figure is what we should be aiming for.
Well, I’m calling Bullsh!t on this. A Barbie doll figure – even the new curvy Barbie – is not the norm for most women nor will it ever be how the majority of us will ever look. Barbie is made of plastic, from a mold. A mold shaped from the outside. We are people – people with feelings, needs and with unique characteristics, a mold that starts from the inside and everyone of us will be different. The Barbie doll look is not reality. Who you are, faults and all, is reality. And you are a Bad-ass, which is a great thing!!
You are the SUM TOTAL OF ALL YOUR PAST beliefs and experiences that have gotten you to where you are today.
