Food issues aren't about the food; they're about the society we live in, the internalization of our patriarchal, sizeist culture, and the vulnerable brain chemistry that make some of us more susceptible to falling down the eating disorder, chronic dieting, and self-hate rabbit hole. This is a big picture problem, and it's time we start treating it that way."
